I am a former student and hurt alumni of A. S. I. S. And I am now the Swedish part time instructor as well. My husband has a lot of physical ailments and disabilities and so I would use touch you know to try to help him but don't you know your this is still okay. Um and so I kind of just working on him one night, he's like I wonder if there's massage balls here, This was the first one that we walked into and the moment I walked in I felt it's silly but I just felt so much more. Um and then there's a little side right in front of the Swedish room that says if you're wearing shoes you're overdressed that right there was what sold me that we don't wear shoes. I found my home while I was in school, I think Loamy was probably my favorite because it was just very dynamic and a lot of movement. Um Cranial sacral was probably the most mind blowing one that's such a little touch, could have such huge effects on people. Um and then just as I've gone on in my career as a massage therapist, I absolutely love lymphatic drainage work and realistically it's a little bit of everything because a really good session is never stuck in the box that we only do this one thing, it's working with the body and what that body means and sometimes he needs this modality and sometimes it needs to have a modality. So the fact that we got so many things to put in our toolbox from this school has really, really helped to give my clients the best massage that I can get.
